So let me introduce this year Christmas menu highlights, they also offer takeaway. Orders has to be made 3 days in advance, which can be done through online (www.morganfields.com.sg/xmas-orders) or phone (8552 5478) A 10% discount will be offered to all orders made online.

Starting with the cooler.

White Christmas Sangria $16.90++

A refreshing mix of white wine, peach puree, diced green apples and oranges.

i would prefer this drink to other drinks because the taste is refreshing and i like the white wine mixed with the apples bits. i think it is worth it coz it is the festive season and it is good to drink a little and with peach and orange mixed, it sort of enhance the overall taste.

There’s another cooler drink you might want to consider trying too with no alcohol in it.

Red Christmas Cooler $8.90++

A fruity mix of lemon, watermelon and cranberry juice. Garnished with blackberries.
There’s a tint of sourness in it due to the lemon and cranberry juice. it is refreshing as well.

You can also check out the other Christmas drink in store. 🙂

Next up for starters, i have tried the Beer Candied Bacon $9.90++

 Hmm.. i would say that this tastes like Bak Kwa. And it is sweet like there is honey in it. The hazelnut taste is not there. But the combination made with Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar beer make it tastes nice and no heavy porky taste. Good to try if you love bacon and didn’t want to eat too much for the starter.

Another starter you might want to consider which include the Beer Candied Bacon is

Pork Trio $15.90++
A basket full of Beer Candied Bacon, Pop Corn Pork and Sliced Pork Bratwurst. Perfect sharing basket of porky bites. The popcorn pork does not taste that porky to me. i thought i am eating chicken. i like how they marinate it so that it taste good.

The sausage is Pork Bratwurst . if you love sausage. this is the dish you will order.

Next up Bourbon Marmalade Glazed Leg of Ham $168.90+(4-5kg, Serves 10-12)

Bourbon Marmalade glaze & juicy ham , this dish is good for home Christmas party. you cannot find such tasty ham at cold storage. i would say Morganfield’s are really good at the Meats. Meat eater will love this.

Bourbon Marmalade Glaze

Crackling Pork Roast $38.90+ 1kg Pork Belly roasted & braised to deliver tender & juicy meat paired with crispy crackling skin.

i would say this taste like the Shio Bak at the market. if you want to compare prices from market and restaurant. i would say there is not a big different in the taste .

Roast Chicken $32.90+

Juicy & plump chicken, stuffed with Rosemary, onions, celery & carrots, Served with Roasted Potatoes.(1.4kg)

i would sing to this dish because it is nice and giving me a break from so much pork. And something different for all. i am quick surprise that they are also good at doing their roast chicken.

Christmas Hazelnut Sticky Bones $29.90++ (Half Slab) / $45.90++ (Full Slab)

Deliciously aromatic and savory courtesy of a glaze made from Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar beer. Served with French Fries and Coleslaw.

The Hazelnut taste was really good for this one. i think this is the must-try although it look so black. ok my photo didn’t do justice to this dish. sorry about it. The taste is really good. i think Morganfield’s strength is still pork ribs. i have yet to taste one that is really good.

Christmas Cranberry Sticky Bones $29.90++ (Half Slab) /$45.90++ (Full Slab)

 Made with cranberries, this festive fruity sweet sauce is definitely going to make your Christmas an oinkingly jolly one! Served with French Fries and Coleslaw.

i think this dish can be enhanced by putting more cranberries on it. The magic for Morganfield’s pork rib is that even the inside of the meat you can still taste a tint favour. Worth to try this two christmas delicacy. Of coz you can also choose other Favoured , enquire instore 🙂

The last dish that i attempted to try is  Morgan’s Christmas Feast $149.90++
