A wonderful opportunity and an eye opening experience at the scent-sational journey at IFF. Thanks to Sasa and IFF for the collaboration and inviting me to join this scentsational journey.

So many fragrances!!!

Scent is something that triggers our daily mood. A beautiful scent leaves as a good impression of the person and a awesome smell makes us go ” yikes! ” and might even spoil our day.


An introduction of the scent in which we are about to experience, from hair products, soap, fabric softener, fine fragrances.

There is so much in depth for us to understand about fragrances and scent we smell in our daily life . so we will be in groups to the different stations.


Starting with the hair section . i guess it is pretty true about how we choose our hair shampoo. fragrances play an important part in the selection

From the hair wash cycle, the test after which how long the scent will stay with the hair throught various consumer hair wash habits.

Fabric care and softener. This is very important section as i love how much my clothes smell

Before we start creating the fragrances . more insight is shared.


“Scent can be very abstract and can be like an art. ” And our group is making the fragrances . we prefer more floral. And glad that jielin is equipped with lab skill, so our fragrances is made with her help.
