Here i am in comfortable kissjane romper, ready to have my lunch  with my mum. And Thanks very much , Marina South Curry House for hosting us so well.

Offering both a la carte and set menus, there is definitely something suitable for each and everyone.




The restaurant’s décor reminds of the good old times, boasting a wide array of decorations that are characteristic of the 70s era. Accompanied with Chinese old school classics, diners familiar with those songs will be able to reminisce the past while enjoying quality food.



The ambience of the restaurant is well suited to its menu of classic Chinese dishes.

Operating hours: Daily 11.30am to 4pm, 5pm to 9.30pm (last order 9pm)

Starting with The Original Buah Long Long Drink $3.90 and Exotic Blended Buah Long Long Drink $4.90 are two highlights from their beverage and ice blended sections. Less commonly found in Singapore, the exotic fruit Buah Long Long is freshly juiced or blended to serve up refreshing thirst-quenching drinks perfect for sunny Singapore.

Their Signature Claypot Fish Head Bee Hoon is a definite must-try when dining at Marina South Curry House. Fresh sea bass is complemented with thick springy bee hoon and the perfect thick superior broth – a mouth-watering creation not to be missed!


True to its name, the restaurant also serves many types of curry: vegetable, mutton, yellow, red, green, and assam. Their delicious curries are bound to leave you spoilt for choice.

Other signature dishes include Salted Egg Chicken Wing – golden brown chicken wings coated with rich salted egg bits,


 Luohan Chye, a combination vegetable dish.

Rendang chicken. i love it!!!!




Dessert, signature cendol. must try and we had more drinks . coz it is just too nice and refreshing. love the drinks there!!!



And rainbow icecream!



i would like to recommand this place to you because it is very affordable, food is really tasty and nothing much i would complain for . first time trying so many dishes and it all tastes better than average. A great place to eat lunch or have business lunch.

Totally love it. will be back to try more other things, now having in mind this…  green curry and horfun.

And we had a good 10 dishes, good food comes from good chef.

Chef Gan Seong Teik, or affectionately known as Chef Gan/德叔 in the kitchen, is the head chef of Marina South Curry House. He hails from Ipoh, Malaysia. Now aged 56, he has chosen to settle down to work in Singapore, with proximity to his hometown being one of the reasons.

Chef Gan specialised in cooking Singaporean and Malaysian dishes while he was working overseas, sharing signature local and Asian delights with the world. His exposure to various international cuisines also broadened his horizons. He constantly learnt, improved and modified his dishes with the vast experience accumulated throughout his career.

For Chef Gan, everything he does is guided by his personal philosophy. He believes that every dish he cooks has to be crafted with:

  • Passion
  • Culinary Dedication

Chef Gan has been interviewed on several media as well as on Taiwan’s food programme ‘美食大三通’.
