Ginevi went for a food tasting at Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant

hi everyone, Chinese new year is coming and it is lovely for family gatherings, business luncheon, business dinner… looking for a new place to go for your seafood?

I am here to recommand you this beautiful place at Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant located at Gardens by the Bay. You can choose to bring your family here and have a scroll after dinner.

Pretty lovely and sceneric view of singapore. it is picturesque and with a luxurious view of the Marina Bay waterfront, and occasionally some hot joggers. The food and seafood is very fresh. Let me introduce the food that i have tried and let me share with you on my favourites dishes :

Trio prawns combo /Salad dressing/ wasabi mayo/ lemon butter milk sauce ($38 for 4 pax) 三味虾球 沙拉酱/芥末酱/奶柠酱

I love this three types of prawns combo, i started with salad dressing, which makes it refreshing, then wasabi mayo , japanese style , wasabi not over spicy the sauce is just nice and then lemon butter… nice mix of lemon and butter that kinda complements the prawns. The prawns taste sooo fresh! 🙂 i love it!

Soup of the day ($18 for 2-4 pax, $27 for 5-8 pax)瓦煲老火汤 – Lotus Root Soup

My family love to make cantonese soup and since young, we drink so much soup . From slimming to beauty soup to cooling soup and lots more. And this is my one favourite, Lotus root soup and when i am a little girl , i can eat everything in the pot including the lotus roots meat and all .

Remember there is an incident when i am feeling kinda down… a simple dinner with Lotus root does make me happy 🙂  Soup is like a “happy juice” to me … YAY! happy smile , it simply warms me up.

Steamed, Su Dan fish, rice broth, “Teochew” style (depends on Market Price)  式粥水蒸苏丹鱼

Soooo, fine and fresh, the meat is juicy with the Teochew style. i love Teochew food because it is

Live crabs, Bay’s signature “Kopi” sauce (depends on Market price) 冠华咖啡焗肉蟹

This is indeed my favourite dish. the crab taste so fresh. i am a ULTRA HUGE fan of crab, really love how it is cooked by using “kopi” sauce. And if you know me in person, i am a girl who loves Long black… and you know this dish just simply match make my two favourites into ONE perfect dish…

i am enjoying so much that some part of the crabmeat is actually pretty crispy with the sauce. Totally love it. 🙂 Unique, Favourful , sweet and full of temptation as the crabmeat lingers with my tongue and teeth. 🙂 A must-try!

Lets look at this video that talks about the kopi crab, making it on the spot! ohhhh goshhhhh….

Sautéed, bamboo clams, water spinach, sambal chilli ($16 for 2-4 pax, $24 for 5-8 pax) 竹蚌马来风光

Baked rice, assorted seafood, chef’s recipe sauce ($68 for 4-6 pax, $88 for 7-12 pax) 海鲜大烩焗饭

Sweet’s temptation ($20 for 4 pax) 甜品诱惑

Sweet temptation is something not the usual yam paste … when it is something special , and you can only find it at Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant, it is handmade by the chef…  when a dessert is not overly sweet, it kinda tempt you to want more. From my experience, i love making dessert too, coz the temptation is sweet when it sums up the dishes and sugar level can be well control 🙂

Simply put everything to a sweet memory and tempting to come back for more!

My favourite among all the temptation… i guess this picture speaks why. 🙂
